PANEL DISCUSSION: How many co-founders is too many

We will focus on the topic of solo founder vs. co-founders and what it means in practice. As a solo founder, you are the master of the situation, but not everyone can make it without the support of the people around them. And if you have already decided to invite co-founders to join you, how do you find the right one(s)?

We will mention some examples from real startup life, advantages and disadvantages of different approaches and we will look closer into the situations that may result from this decision in the future.

Join the panel discussion featuring three industry leaders:

The discussion will be hosted by Bohumil Pokštefl, CEO SaasGarden.

ROUNDTABLE: How the number of founders can influence a startup’s financial health

When starting a business, the number of co-founders can significantly affect equity distribution, funding decisions, and long-term financial growth. Too many co-founders may dilute ownership and complicate profit-sharing, while too few may limit access to resources and expertise. In this roundtable discussion, we’ll explore how the number of founders can influence a startup’s financial health and investor appeal. Let’s dive into the financial considerations behind structuring the ideal founding team.

Roundtable will be led by Peter Pašek, Managing Director / Partner Accace Slovakia/ Co-founder AceON Accelerator.

Peter is a recognized specialist in transaction and tax advisory. Throughout his many years of practice, he has participated in multiple business sales, structured transactions, and represented companies in negotiations with investors. Since 2013, he has been leading Accace Slovakia, one of the largest consulting firms on the Slovak market, where he is also a partner. He is also one of the founders and partners of the family office InvAce, the civic association #accacelife, and the international startup program AceON Accelerator.
