PANNEL DISCUSSION: Business, food, and low-rise jeans: What trends stay and which fade like fidget spinners
Thea Prokop, the trend-setting Chief Editor of Elle Magazine, and Lukáš Žďárský, co- founder of Dudes & Barbies, the builder-mind behind Radlická kulturní sportovna, Kavárna co hledá jméno, and Vnitroblock, teamed up to tackle the future of trends. Will crop tops keep reigning supreme, and can urban spaces stay cool forever? We talked about what’s here to stay and what’s just a passing fad (like a shoulder pad).
Don’t judge other people’s style too quickly, and maybe don’t fuss so much over coffee beans either ☕. Fashion and gastro are all about riding the trends just right—without bending too much or selling out.

Joining a Dutch biotech startup In Ovo as a marketing strategist ignited Adam’s passion for startups. He then travelled through the European Tech ecosystem at Tech Tour, connecting ambitious European founders and VCs. Returning to Denmark, Adam joined Accelerace, the first startup accelerator in Europe and an active pre-seed VC. After 6 years abroad, he’s bringing home international experience to Slovak and Czech startup ecosystems, fulfilling the vision with Czech Founders VC turning us into startup nations. As a Relationship manager, he’s busy investing in founders seeking pre-seed funding or supporting almost 20 startups onboard with Czech Founders VC.

Zuzka is currently the Principal at J&T Ventures. Prior joining the team, she gained her professional experience working at various positions in Finance. She was CFO of Financial services company Chytrý Honza, worked for Czech Private Equity fund focused on renewable energy, performed audits at EY, and was Financial Controller for Czech Real Estate developer. She holds a master degree from University of Economics in Prague.
